Who We Are
The Mint Foundation is a Dayton, Ohio nonprofit helping people move from surviving to thriving with their money.
We believe financial confidence isn't built alone. Through education, mentorship, and a community that holds you accountable, we help members budget with intention, build lasting wealth, launch businesses, and lead with purpose.
Whether you're just getting your finances in order or ready to accelerate, there's a place for you here.
Our Founder
From Surviving to Thriving, Together
I'm Jocelyn Weaver, a financial coach and community advocate, and The Mint Foundation started with my own story.
I worked in private banking, and I still spent years living paycheck to paycheck as a single mom. I knew the numbers, but I never felt like I had "enough" to change my life. Knowing what to do and feeling secure doing it turned out to be two very different things.
So I made a decision: no more just surviving. I was going to thrive, and I wanted to bring others with me.
That decision sparked a community of like-minded people here in Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus learning together and holding each other accountable. It grew into what The Mint Foundation is today.
You don't have to figure out your money alone. Come build with us.
What Our Community Is Saying
"I joined The Mint Foundation 10 years ago because I wanted to make better financial decisions and build a stronger future for my family. Now, as an empty nester I am still learning, growing, and working toward financial freedom and generational wealth. I am grateful for the education, encouragement, and community the Mint Foundation continues to provide."
Secretary
Marisha C.
"I was invited to a meeting, the information that was presented was about becoming financially free. The information that I had and my notes, helped me to implement a plan to start paying my bills down and to pay them off. I'm happy to say, I have paid off several of my bills, several balances are paid down and my credit score increased. I joined the group because I saw how the members cared and was helping me. The group is a safe place and everyone is there to help. I look forward to the meeting because I'm learning something new."
