VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP

Ready to Lead With Us?

We're building something that will outlast all of us, and we need leaders who want to build it too. Join our volunteer Board of Directors or Advisory Board and help shape the future of financial empowerment in Dayton.

Open Board Seats

Our Board of Directors provides strategic oversight and governance for our long-term mission. Board members meet 1–2 times a month (Thursday or Sunday), or quarterly depending on our needs and projects. They also serve on a committee, support periodic events, and serve a two-year term. Board positions are volunteer roles. Board members pay a one-time $50 registration fee and $30 monthly dues.

Director of Programming

Shape programming across The Mint Society, Project Mint, and The Mint Lab, from curriculum and workshops to youth initiatives. Connect members with financial professionals and educators on topics like investing, homeownership, entrepreneurship, and retirement.

Director of Community Engagement & Events

Strengthen our presence throughout Dayton by developing community events, identifying partnership opportunities, coordinating volunteers, and supporting fundraising events.

Director of Development & Partnerships

Build relationships with businesses, sponsors, donors, financial institutions, and community organizations to grow sponsorships, fundraising, in-kind donations, and long-term sustainability.

Treasurer

Oversee the Foundation's financial health, including budgeting, financial reporting, and tracking dues, donations, and expenses, working with the Board to keep our finances transparent and accountable.

Join Our Advisory Board

Our Advisory Board brings expert counsel in finance, accounting, community growth, and entrepreneurial development. Advisors guide our leadership on strategy, open doors to partners and sponsors, share their expertise through workshops, and champion our mission in their networks. The Advisory Board meets quarterly or as projects need, plus periodic events. Advisory roles are volunteer positions, and no fees or dues are required.
